For the first time ever, Arab Arcade invites you to Beirut Game Fest, a day of talks, workshops, and panels, on the world of game development and design, presented by leading experts from Lebanon and the MENA region.
Discover the promising work being done by local developers, network with a community of game creators, and start your own gamedev journey.
The event is set to happen on Saturday January 14, 2017, from 9AM - 11PM.
Speakers at the event will include Louis Karim, character animator on the indie VR game Subnautica, and Vince Ghossoub, CEO of the Lebanese gaming startup Falafel Games.
There will be workshops, such as "Intro to Pixel Art" given by 2D artist Samir Kazah from Groovy Antoid, and "Making it Multiplayer" presented by MerryBerries CTO Joseph Saade, who will be teaching the basics of networking with Unity, in order to implement features like leaderboards and multiplayer gaming.
